Mary is health–conscious and monitors her weight regularly. She likes to be slim but knows that as one ages a weight that is too low can make one look gaunt so she tries to keep a happy medium. When the scales suggest that she is indulging a bit much, she goes back to keeping a diet log and counting calories. She is a believer in healthy fats so likes recipes with extra virgin olive oil. She works as a mental health therapist for the deaf and mentally ill. Now that she is working part–time she has more time for exercise and walks most days.
