This recipe makes 8 servings at 680 calories per serving
1 large can baked beans
2 pounds groiund beef
2 tablespoons oil
1 large onion
1 can corn
2 packages of corn bread
1 can chopped or crushed tomatoes
1 small can tomato paste
1 can dark kidney beans
Chip the onions and fry in the oil. Fry the ground beef. Stir together all of the ingredients except for the corn bread and put it in a big pan. Prepare the corn bread as instructed on the package. Spoon the cornbread mixture on top of the chili and smooth the top with a spoon. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about a half an hour or until the cornbread is baked through.
